WELCOME TO PARADE CENTRAL 2008 FOR MARCHING BANDS!

Parade Central is a web page that is designed to assist band directors by offering a centralized location for Minnesota parade information. It also seeks to serve parade organizational committees by offering a location to promote and inform others about a parade.

The goal of this web site is to offer accurate information about each parade, the date it is being held, judging information, who to contact and more.

This site also offers a service to bands and their directors by supplying a space to post a link to your marching band's web page. Expenses are growing for parade committees and reaching out to bands through electronic mail can save valuable dollars which could be put into their local festivals rather than mailing expenses. Posting a link to your band page allows parade committees to search for active marching bands to invite to their parade events. A new feature to the site is the results from parade competitions. Many band directors have indicated that they would like to see the scores and results from the multitude of parades in the upper Midwest. Any results which are offered to the site, will be posted. 2008 parade results will be posted as the competition season begins!
